Mochi Mochi Cafe was officially opened in September of 2026, but I have been collecting squishies since I was 10 years old.

In June 2026, I started seeing squishy collectors and creators on TikTok again, which reminded me how much I enjoyed collecting them and it inspired me to open my own small shop.

The name Mochi Mochi Cafe is in honor of the two dogs my grandpa gave me, both named Mochi. Our mascot is inspired by my current dog, Mandoo, who is a 4-year-old Maltese :).

Mochi Mochi Cafe is also dedicated to my late grandpa Roy, who supported my collection growing up and made it possible for me to build the collection I dreamed of having.

What started as a childhood hobby has now become a way to share that same happiness and nostalgia with other squishy lovers.
